Español May 11, 2006 A letter from Ernesto's wife Carolina: Ernesto has had a very successful career and has enjoyed the success of living in America and fulfilling his dream. He is facing a terrible fight, something that is very, very hard to describe, but through all of it, he's been truly amazing. I've been with him everyday since his accident, and let me tell you, he is the strongest person in the world! He has an awesome attitude and, get this – HE tells ME that everything's going to be ok. HE is the one that keeps ME strong. He is who keeps me strong. His love and personality are far better attributes than being one of the best motocross racers in the world. I want to thank all of you, with all my heart, for the letters and all the support. It's awesome to know how much you all care. Thanks to everyone that has been there for us. Regards, Carolina This is one of Ernesto’s first days in Colorado, just before he got his halo taken off. Things were starting to get better! Ernesto and Carolina getting outside for some fresh air … The rehab center is located near Denver (and close the Lakewood national track) and has spectacular views of the mountains.
